Request for donations.
Financial assistance toward the cost of competition for Junior and Youth MYC members who intend to compete at an International or National level to advance their skills and engagement in the sport of sailing is one of the specific projects identified by the Mornington Yacht Club Foundation. The Foundation is launching an appeal to attract funds to assist the Foundation in funding this program which has been suspended over the last two years due to COVID.
Donations to support this objective can be made to the Junior and Youth Competing Sailor project established on the Mornington Yacht Club’s site at the Australian Sports Foundation. Funds contributed in this way will be distributed to the MYC Foundation, less an administration fee and are tax deductible to the donor. In addition donations for which no tax deduction is sought can be made directly to the Foundation through the Club’s office.
Applications are now being requested deadline extended to 15 April 2022
The Foundation is now calling for Applications from members seeking support for events in the forthcoming 12 months to 31 March 2023. Applications can be made as an individual , as a team of MYC members, or as a team which includes non MYC members. The criteria that will be applied in assessing applications together with the Application Form to be submitted is located on the MYC Website.
