The Australian Sailing Victorian Junior Carnival 16th Feb 2019 - carnival like event on Mother’s Beach to foster learn-to-sail graduates take the next step to life long sailing

Schnapper Point Regatta - 16 and 17th Feb 2019 - expect over 100 boats this year

Victorian State 420 class championship - March 2019

Australian National 420 class championship - January 2020

As well as the hundreds of visitors these events attract, your company could expect exposure from media articles, naming rights, signage on clubhouse and beach, boat stickers, show-bags and promotional goods.

Anyone within the club that is involved in Junior/Youth is required to do a working with children check. Below are the definitions as to what type of contact is considered a requirement:

DIRECT CONTACT in the Act. The definition of direct contact now includes oral, written or electronic communication as well as face-to-face and physical contact.
If a person’s contact with children as part of their child-related work is supervised by another person, they will still need to apply for a Working with Children Check.
