What a fantastic weekend to get back to sailing! Albeit a little chilly..! Thank you to everyone for following the many restrictions, all went very well. Our de-brefings will be Monday evening - please check your email for the links June Coaching Camp Our next training camp is during the school holidays, June 27, 28 & 29. We hope restrictions will be lifted and we can go back to normal training, we will see. In the meantime, bookings are open, so book in before we sell out! 😊 https://www.trybooking.com/BJPNR National Volunteer Week…..
Where do we start??? Without our volunteers, nothing happens. At MYC we are blessed to have a hard core of regular volunteers who turn up every time something needs to be done around the Club. The Board, the Sailing Committee, the Finance Committee, the Training and Development Committee, the Marketing Committee are all volunteers whose time and expertise dedicated to help the club cannot be measured in dollars. Volunteers are the backbone of Mornington Yacht Club, they are in our DNA highlighted by the Thursday Action Group. A group of retired (from paid work) members who organise the yard, and do all the odd jobs that are needed to keep the Club running efficiently. And they’re cheap!!! It’s amazing what work we can get done in exchange for a packet of ”Tim Tams”. I’m sure that I have the support of all members in saying THANK YOU to our volunteers. You are TEAM MYC! Greg Martin MYC Commodore Our new App is working really well and with over 200 members signed up, it is a great way for members to communicate! - contact the office or bolts if you're having any trouble getting started. On that note we want to say again a MASSIVE thank you to Steve Bolton for organising, setting up and making the change over as smooth as possible. We wouldn't have the new app without him, the club is lucky to have you Steve! :) We ask that you take a minute to read through the Club App Policy - click here to read - thank you!.
