When shopping at Ritchies and by using a community benefit card linked to Mornington Yacht Club then Ritchies will donate money back to us. These cards/tags can be used at ANY Ritchies store, supermarket or liquor throughout Vic, NSW and Qld by our members, supporters and their families.

​If you would like to support us and you don’t already have a CB card/tag please collect one at the registers next time you shop at ANY Ritchies store to use every time you shop. All you do is nominate Mornington Yacht Club, it’s that easy!  This is an easy way for us to raise funds for our club with no costs involved.  

The Couta Boat Association in association with SSCBC are hosting part of their 2017 State Championships at Mornington.

Expect a wonderful fleet of these classic fishing boats in Mornington Harbour. It great news for the local Couta boat fleet and the community to see history and such craftsmanship at Mornington.

MYC is seeking on and off water volunteers to assist on Saturday 11 March and Sunday 12  March.

This event added a Buzz to the Schnapper Point Regatta Weekend. Approx 10 school teams competed

​The end of an era, 18 years DBYC the LIDGETTs, Danks, and Friends have shown how to run, a fun and skilled based event in the most professional manner .
Sad to see it end, but proud to see MYC 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the last event. So many sailors may not have stayed in the sport if not for the offering of LIDGETT Cup. Well Over a hundred MYC young sailors have attended over the years and we have supported the event with Volunteers throughout.

As part of the Victorian Youth High Performance Sailing program Mornington Yacht Club is just one of the the yacht clubs selected to assist train and develop Victoria's best  youngsters. All through out 2017 , about twice a month you will see the squad training at Mornington.

36 of the best Optimist sailors in Australia gathered in Adelaide on the weekend for a training camp.
The AOST team included FOUR of our talented Tam MYC Juniors. They were Lachie Weber, Zach Hayes, Sophie McKenzie and James Jackson. One of the activities was team MYC taking on the Rope Course, a flying sabot and even lots of sailing! The coaches included Olympians and guest speakers from the AIS. Photos thanks to Noel Heyes .

Series Results are provisional (subject to race Committee hearing) but Under The Pump Joe Etherson Quantum leap Chris Jackson are currently clear leaders. It was great to have GT (Aust Etchell Champ)  out racing with his son Digby and Rhett Gowans (Aust Laser radial Champ) sailing with Cam McKenzie on an Etchell for the first time.

Hi MYC

RBYC is running the 6th Property Industry Foundation Sailing Challenge on Friday 24th of March  - details are attached.
 
Last year we raised around $125k for homeless and disadvantaged youth through Open Families / Light house Foundation, etc.
 
I need some more big boats (mono-hull and cats) from around the Bay – might you maybe be able to give me some leads or shoulder tap them directly?
 
It’s a great day with all hospitality for the owner and crew covered by PIF.
 
I will treat and all details with the utmost of respect and would only use it to send the polite invitation copied below for this year’s event only…
