The race kicks off at 10:30 am on December 26th. Join our 31-strong Hobart and Devonport fleet and race them down to BYS! This event is open to all MYC junior an youth members and sailors. For $15 the evening includes Pizza and a fun time with your sailing mates. On 10th November, Krista Bailey was the guest of honour at the Lakeside Sailing Club in Pakenham (yes they do have a lake, and now a sailing club). Krista is a past champion in a number of divisions of the Hansa class of dinghy, is a volunteer with MYC Sailability, and participates in Sailability when it operates at MYC on a Sunday. The occasion was the opening of their new floating pontoon jetty that will enable people of all abilities to access their small fleet of sailing dinghies on the lake. The occasion had a wide mixture of people in attendance……. local State MP, the Mayor, President of Sailability Victoria, and of course, members and volunteers with the Sailing Club. Krista had the honour of cutting the ribbon, and declaring the new facility open for business. Graeme Lyell  A HUGE thank you goes to our great sponsor "Event & Flavour" for organising a fantastic Oaks Day for us....The event was fully booked (we had to close bookings on the Friday before), the weather was perfect, the room looked amazing and everyone that who came looked gorgeous!!
