Australia Day Parade 2018 - MYC Float
Many of the MYC kids lead by Noel Lane represented our Club at the Australia Day Parade on Main Street last Friday.
It was a wonderful day and began with the kids first meeting at the club and putting together the float they had worked on weeks leading up to the event.
We all made our way up to Barkly Street where all the floats in the parade gathered for the start. Thanks to the Lee’s there were icypoles all round to cool us down!
On turning into Main Street for the start of the parade the float lit up with waves and smiles and all the kids calling out “M Y C – Happy Australia Day!” Our Club burgee flew all the way down Main Street and it was a very proud moment for the Club.
Well done to all that attended.

The effort to build our float was amazing! Hours of design and construction in the making and here's just a little snippet of the action during the construction phase.
Well done Team MYC!
