We have a new Crew Hub this season, allowing anyone to list themselves as available to crew on any of our race days.
It’s a great resource for skippers, and we highly recommend bookmarking the page! You can also find a direct link to the Crew Hub in the Links section of the MYC App.
The Hub will always be kept current, with listings automatically cleared every Sunday night so it doesn’t become cluttered with out-of-date availability.

A reminder for all skippers: Anyone racing on your boat this season must have:

• a SailSys account,
• be included on your boat’s Crew List and
• have paid the applicable Crew Fees.

Our Club insurance policies require skippers and crew to be accurately listed on the Crew List for every race. Please don’t overlook this requirement – it is included in the Rules and, most importantly, it’s about your safety.

• When selecting the racing series you wish to compete in, don’t forget to select the mandatory Season Compliance module too. If you don’t select and complete this module, you will not receive results.

You do not need to pay for the compliance module on checkout.

• When you get to the Payment section, please be sure to update the fields as below and ensure you are paying the right amount. There are up 6 racing series to choose from and pay for this year.

Alma Doepel is Going to Hobart
For the first time since 1976 Alma Doepel will visit Hobart for the Australian
Wooden Boat Festival. The Board of Sail & Adventure Ltd has formally
approved the voyage of Alma Doepel to the Australian Wooden Boat
Festival in Hobart in February 2027.
This will be Alma Doepel’s first major interstate voyage following her restoration
and an extraordinary milestone for everyone who has supported the ship over
many years. It also marks 50 years since the Alma Doepel departed Hobart for
her new life in Victoria working with young people.
They are looking for experienced crew, interested in joining the delivery voyage,
return voyage, sea trials or festival operations. Also there are opportunities for
skilled volunteers able to assist with electrical work, carpentry, rigging, painting,
deck work, engineering, provisioning and voyage preparation.
