We have received information from Australian Sailing outlining their initial interpretation of the new restrictions which commence midnight Tuesday 12 May.

MYC Club Specific Summary
- You can go sailing recreationally in a single handed dinghy with a group of up to 10 people, as long as you keep the 1.5mtr distancing.
- You can NOT sail in a double handed dinghy (except with a sibling/family member that you live with).
- You can go sailing recreationally in a keel boat with up to 10 people as long as you keep the 1.5mtr distancing if they do not live with you.
- You must arrive dressed for the activity and change at home afterwards (get in / get out).
- The Clubhouse is still NOT open (includes showers & facilities downstairs).
- The toilet at the back of the yard, by Richie's shed is available for members use.
- Sign in sign out rules of the yard continue to apply; EVERYONE (including members) must report to the MYC office in person, by telephone or by text after 3pm and at weekends to 0474 976 295 - the signs on the entry gates display this number.
