MYC member James Craig is planning a trip down the east coast of Tassie for approx 10 days down and 10 days trip back, looking to take any additional crew members that may be interested in coming. Crew members can choose to do the whole trip, or any of the stages either there or return etc. We will be mostly day tripping our way there - not many over night sails - the longest leg will be approx 130 Nm.
We will be leaving St Kilda on Thursday night (24th March, to head out the heads on Friday 25th), arriving in Hobart before Sunday 3rd. The return trip should have us back in Melbourne 16-17 April.
It will be aboard a 68' Gulfstar "Mr Percival" - The yacht sleeps 8 in 4 berths, very comfortable sailing. Anyone is welcome to come sailing with me prior to the trip on most weekends, or come up to St Kilda to check the boat out.
