A long term member of the club since 1986 and for many many years sailed with his mate John Rouse.
Both were Architects and met through this profession.
John Rouse wrote
He initially sailed on H28 “Castaway” which I owned when I first joined the club.
He then moved through each of the four Rouseabout’s that I owned and finally retired to go and play golf with me. He was my most loyal and consistent crew member through all the years I sailed out of Mornington.
Tony died on Sunday 5th. June 2016 from a massive brain haemorrhage while on holiday in South Australia. He had not been previously ill thus it was a massive shock to everyone to hear of his passing.
He will be sadly missed by not only his family but his very large group of friends.
Some of the boats that Tony Wayling sailed on are pictured below.
Regards, John Rouse"
