VALE | Nan Rodd
Nan Rodd passed away a couple of days ago at the age of 96. She was a long time life member and the wife of late Max Rodd. Her contribution to the MYC associates as they were known in the early days of the club was huge. Social events were highlights in the Summer months as the many members from Melbourne flocked to the beaches and the holiday environment of the yacht club. Husband Max was a former office holder and board member of the club who was on the building sub committee that planned and built the new clubhouse on the reclaim. He is also remembered for his longstanding involvement with the training of our Juniors and has the school named after him.
There will be a celebration of Nan's life to be announced at a later date.
