It is with great sadness to let our membership know that Chris Donnellan passed away a few days ago at the young age of 39. Chris and his family joined Mornington Yacht Club in 1993 where he sailed Sabot's from a young age with siblings Tim, Steve & Lauren.
Parents Tony & Bev along with the siblings spent many hours traveling Australia where Chris participated in State and National Sabot Championships. He then went on to sail in the 420 fleet with Jono Neate including the National Championships in Brisbane.
Chris then moved on from sailing as he took on a career as a very successful chef in Melbourne & then Vietnam.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Tony, Bev and family at this very sad time xxx
There will be a celebration of Chris's life to be announced at a later date.
