Dear Members & Friends,
The planning and development of our new Junior and Youth Sailing Program is almost complete and we plan to implement it as soon as the Covid 19 restrictions allow us to do so. This program which will replace Tackers, has the objective of building junior membership and introducing new sailors and their families to the Club.
The appeal for funds which we launched in June has raised $11,700 which will enable us to purchase 5 new plastic Opti's. To run the program efficiently we require one additional boat so if anyone hasn't as yet donated and wishes to do so they can make a tax deductible donation through our Opti Appeal at the Mornington Yacht Club site at the Australian Sports Foundation or directly through Sarah in the office.
We know that we are living through very difficult times but every little donation will help us launch this program successfully,
