GOSS was developed to provide an opportunity for women to get back out on the water, and many women just wanted to give it a try. The opportunity to enable women to come and have their little ones watched over while they take a little time out, to create new friendships, get back onto the water or start a new journey, or just come to a wonderful venue with a great group of like-minded women and enjoy great coffee and of course goss.
Two groups went out for a sail on Arabelle last Thursday and participants included Megan Sinclair and Maria Napolitano. (photos attached). Along with the sailing a lot of life stories were shared and enjoyed. It is always great to have Paul Dynes help out. Paul, as always, made the day fun for all. The GOSS group was an idea formed while talking to some kindergarten mums. Many had varying levels of sailing experience and spoke of how much they enjoyed sailing, being on-water and certainly the social aspect. All mentioned how they missed being able to get out on the water as becoming mums had certainly restricted their time with the day to day running of families and workplaces taking priority.
