At 5 pm the winds arrived blowing 30 knots from the south. RO Steve Bardsley monitored whilst crews relaxed on the deck. Everyone's patience was rewarded with excellent sailing conditions after 6 pm. The race started in 20 knots and ended in less than 10 knots from the South.

A special note for Ivan Halstead-Smith tonight recovering in Frankston Hospital. Well respected and loyal member Ivan suffered a medical emergency on Anna tonight. The Anna crew, Bridgitte and Brad were amazing in their actions in contacting 000 and getting Ivan safely ashore. The 4 nurses Tanya, Chris, Pam, Amanda and Sharon and those on shore must also be thanked after taking responsibility whilst waiting for the ambulance. We all wish Ivan full recovery and our best wishes to Bridgitte Swallow.
