It’s been a blast......
I would just like to have the opportunity to say what a great time I have had running the sailing school at MYC. I consider myself to have been very lucky to have returned to a club that I hold so close to my heart, having commenced sailing here when I was 14, supported dad when he was Commodore and of course started the Pickford journey with Doug. But now after 9 ½ years it is time to spend some time with Josie and Alice. Although I enjoyed my role greatly I did seem to miss out on ‘playing’ in the warmer seasons with my gorgeous girls, and although they are also budding sailors it is just time to get stuck into some other things too!! J
A huge THANKYOU to all the wonderful members that have helped me endlessly with my programs, and around the yacht club, your blood is worth bottling and your time has always been greatly appreciated. And also to the strong group of instructors supporting our programs – what a team!
So, this Friday is my last day – and to celebrate I am going to have a quiet little sparkling drink with Sarah & Michelle from 4:00pm and you are more than welcome to join us.
