Dear fellow sailors,
I am a former member of Hobsons Bay Yacht Club, having left Melbourne last year on our boat to cruise up the east coast and participate in the Sail 2 Indonesia yacht rally which departed Cairns.
An Indonesian delegation will shortly be in Melbourne to promote the opportunity of participating in future rallies to the yachting community here. They would like to invite the members of your respective clubs to an information evening at the Sandringham Yacht Club on Thursday April 7th, 5.30-8.30pm. It promises to be a great evening with a display of Indonesian dancing and a free dinner, as well as information about the rally. The rally was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in cruising in Indonesia.
I have attached the invitation and program, and my Indonesian friends would greatly appreciate it if you could extend this invitation to your members.
