A long but fun weekend of racing at SYC on the weekend saw some great results from Team MYC over the weekend at Sail Sandy with 17 MYC members competing. There was a big variation in wind ranges, with light winds in the morning building into decent sea breezes. Rhett Gowans standing out again in the highly competitive Laser class 2nd overall. Great to see Courtney and Steph out for their first effort in the 420. Sophie and Ella 4th overall just ahead of Stan and Kristian followed by Caroline and Jack. Nick and James only did one day due to exams, so results don’t show it but they led after day 1. The 6 opti sailors had some great results with John Faulkner 10th just ahead of Will Mackenzie, Lachie Weber, Jaz Evendon, Jack Eickmeyer and Milly Evenden.
