A group of around 50 MYC members ventured North over the weekend with over 20 boats and like previous years were treated to wonderful hospitality and for the first two days great weather. Day three saw rain and lots of it!
We had optimists, lasers , 420s, 29er, contenders, sabre, fireball and a bic all representing MYC.
Some great results with Jay James 1st in Opti Intermediate fleet, Lily and Matilda 1st in 420s, Lucy and Chloe 2nd in the 420s, Rhett 2nd in the Lasers, Opti Open Will 4th and James 5th.
Great to see some Green Fleet Optis coming through with Milli Grover, Heath Jones, Charlie. Eickmeyer all on the water.
Other Juniors and Youth racing (and I hope I have not missed any): Tyrone, Denver, Kate and Immi, Lachie and Jack, Sophie, Mackennzie, Zac, Brooke, Sassy & Digby and Henry.
On Sunday after Sailing we saw Jack, James and Lachie have a go at the Contender and Sabre and Henry out in a Fire Ball .
A few dads raced as well, Hutch in the Sabre, Eick in the Contender, Paul Heyes (with Zac) in the 29er, Jacko and GT in the Fireball.
Jacqui headed up the horse riding and others relaxed on the lawn and enjoyed the country hospitality.
