A memorial service for local sailor Max Peters, who tragically lost his life in a man overboard incident during this year’s Association Cup, will be held at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria at 120 Nelson Place, Williamstown on Friday 4 May from 1:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for all who knew Max to come together to celebrate his life and to share memories and stories with family, friends and fellow sailors. All who knew Max are welcome to join.
The family have requested that in place of flowers, donations can be made in Max’s name to the Coastguard. Should you wish to send a card please mail to RYCV. Messages of condolence can be sent by e-mail to [email protected] or through the condolence book kept at reception. We will ensure these cards and messages are all passed on to the family at the memorial service. If you have any photos of Max that you think the family might like then please include these in an e-mail and we will include them in a slideshow that we plan to have running at the Club next Friday.
