Family Life has been supporting families in the Mornington Peninsula for many years and we’re delighted to share that we are now opening a Community Op Shop in Rosebud in the coming weeks.
Having worked with vulnerable children, families and communities since 1970, we believe every family deserves to live in a safe and supportive community. Everything we do supports this through our family and individual support services, community strengthening programs, a network of op shops, a vibrant engaged volunteer community and passionate skilled staff. We are proudly independent and not for profit.
Our Social Enterprise Community Op Shops provide volunteering and retail work skills opportunities, a place for community to connect, and they provide much needed funding towards many of our programs at Family Life to help vulnerable members in our community.
We invite you to spread the word about the new store, as well as our appeal for volunteers and donations of good quality items. Please note that volunteering is also open to students 15 years and over, just a few hours a week is enough to make a difference!
