INVITATION to join your fellow junior sailors at the 2017 Victorian Optimist State Championships
On the March long weekend the largest one design fleet in Victoria is gathering for a weekend of fun at Royal Geelong Yacht Club.
Dates: 11,12 & 13th March 2017
Location: Royal Geelong Yacht Club
TACKERS CARNIVAL:
If you have been learning to sail this summer come and see the fleet in action and enjoy a 1.5 hour sail on the beautiful waters of Corio Bay. Perhaps make a day trip of it and stop for lunch in Geelong after your sail.
COST: $25 per session or $60 for 3 sessions.

GREEN FLEET CARNIVAL : FUN. CONFIDENCE. FRIENDSHIP.
Green fleet is the beginner fleet for the Optimist class and is based around fun, friendship and development of confidence. VIODA will be providing small group on water support in the same format many of you enjoyed at the recent Lidgett Trophy in DBYC. We will have on water and on land games, and with a focus around enjoyment and helping newer families starting out in sailing.
Thank you to Davey’s Bay YC and VIODA for providing the support boats to help provide the resources needed to run this Green Fleet format.
COST: $100 for 3 days
