Some Div 1, 2 & 3 boats set off on a destination race to Hobsons Bay Saturday morning - the conditions were calm when they left MYC, but got extremely tough later! Well done to the Div 3 boats that made it to HBYC.

"A smaller Division 3 group than planned met for dinner and a few stories after Saturday's race to Hobsons Bay YC. 35+knot winds made for a challenging race for the small Div 3 boats, with 5 boats making it safely to HBYC and 3 heading for refuge at SYC. Great effort everyone keeping the boats and crew safe"

"A particularly good effort by the 5 Div 3 boats that made it to Hobbo safely. Especially when there were only two finishers in each of Div 1 and Div 2. The conditions made it tough going even for the biggest and heaviest boat in the fleet. (We even got some spray over the deck!)"
