Conditions were tough getting out but the wind and waves only added to the excitement for this bunch of Friday Funners!
A big thankyou to Sophie Jackson and Nick Sharman who were great help with launching; I watched from the jetty and it was very enjoyable to see how their experience turned what seemed a hard mission into a new skill.
Always great to see some new faces. Trust you had fun Oscar and Digby Crittenden and hope to see you next week.
It was an amazing effort by Alfie who took Digby out for a ride. Watching him push his boat through the waves while keeping his first crew safe was inspiring. How you got through those waves I have no idea? Digby had a great time by the look on his face.
Millie and Henri also came back with big grins after Hunter and Tom took them for a spin on a Feva; thanks Hunter and Tom, we always look forward to seeing you out there on the Feva.
Liam, Ella, Declan and Will are getting more familiar with their boats by the great sailing they demonstrated. It is wonderful to see you taking care of them and washing them down after sailing.
A few of the kids thought the boogie board was the way to go and took advantage of the surf. Seems we had the harbour covered with activities.
Andrew once again a great job on the BBQ however there appears some competition from Jack Vermeer.
Looking Forward
Looking at Ella’s Fun Coaching there are only 3 Sessions remaining and the last (23 March) coincides with the Junior Party! Book online www.trybooking.com/357286
I am hoping many of us get a chance to be part of the remaining sessions and we have big turnouts. The group has grown over summer and have all been fantastic at welcoming new families; something we want to continue.
For those new to the group or encouraging friends to join in here is a quick link to booking a session. The webpage also explains a little bit more of what we are about.
