...the event all Oz Opti sailors wait for - the Australian National Optimist championships will be held at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, Manly - the Opti fleets sailing in beautiful Morton Bay.
The facilities & location of the venue will ensure that both sailors & their families will enjoy this holiday week in Queensland. OptiAUS and RQYS are planning an exciting week of racing and family friendly activities to allow the whole family to join in. This is a busy holiday period, plan the journey early to secure accommodation and flights. The OptiAUS website will host the event, registrations and information, the OptiAUS FB site will keep you up to date as the event planning progresses. 272 competitors in SA in 2017....how many will head to Queensland? We will be launching Event Registration with a Gill competition to guess the total number of sailors that will compete in 2018....More info soon....
