Teams racing

​With a commitment to building relationships with schools and our young members, MYC is proud to offer a number of opportunities for school groups/teams, friends and social sailing to occur through the format of sailing teams racing. 

MYC Friday night social teams racing 

 MYC Friday night social teams racing is open to sailors aged 16+. We aim to encourage sailors who have reduced their sailing due to study and work to come down on a few Friday nights in the season for some fun and social sailing!

Format is mixed pairs, so just bring yourself and a partner for the night. 
Normally casual racing with music playing from the start boat, and a BBQ and beverages afterwards!

Victorian Social Sailing Series

In the 2019-2020 season Mornington will be one of the host venues for the inaugural season of the Victorian Social Sailing Series. This Series aims to engage and re-engage sailors between the ages of 18-35 in the fun and social format of teams racing. These evenings will consist of after work sailing on a Friday night, before a social event at the host club in the evening.
