Slipping Day Success
Thankfully Saturday dawned with little breeze and promised great conditions for slipping and craning the yachts..
The BBQ went from 7am to 2pm - egg and bacon rolls for breakfast followed by BBQ snags and onion in bread and a selection of slices and muffins brought along by the BBQ volies to have with tea and coffee.
Many, many thanks to Jo McKenzie, Gail Brandoff, Jo Vermeer, Mary Young and Majbritt Kring for their willingness to volunteer and for their witty and encouraging company! I certainly enjoyed myself and the crews and yard volunteers expressed their appreciation of our effort.
Thanks to Sophie McKenzie too for the delicious little blueberry muffins.
Well done to all, especially Laurie.
