Last season, you would have heard me or Noel refer to a project where we wanted to clad our storage area in polycarbonate sheeting, in order to stop the entry of dirt and rubbish, and in doing so, better protect the array of equipment we have stored in there. Well thanks to Harvey and his team of willing helpers (Bill, Brian Fraser, and Andrew Jones), the job is now complete. Have a look at the couple of photos attached, and I am sure you will see what a great improvement we have. Internally, the area has also been re-arranged, and thoroughly cleaned.
Harvey deserves a medal for all of the hours he has put into the project....
planning, purchasing materials, doing all the site prep etc. A champion effort. Our thanks must also go to Bill, Brian and Andrew, and to Bunnings who were kind enough to donate the timber required for the job. The remainder of the materials were purchased through Sailability funds.
We can now all look forward to opening those gates whenever we start a program day, and marvelling at how clean the area is, and how good it looks to the passer by.
