About Battery World Mornington....
With a 30-year career in the automotive industry, working on everything from trucks to Rolls Royce cars, Mornington's newest Batteryologist Brad Fitzsimmons aims to ensure his team delivers first class service.
Brad's career has included working on and with cars: from a technician to running dealerships along with 10 years as the national sales manager for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. He has also been a Dealer-Principal of an auto group on the Mornington Peninsula, for many years, so chances are he has sold you a car.
Now he's setting his cap on a new challenge to provide Mornington locals with all things batteries as a Batteryologist with the country's specialist battery retailer.
"This area has grown significantly over the last few years and there was no one catering for the emerging market," Brad said. "The Peninsula has a massively diverse demographic and business type with wineries to golf courses. It is also the boating capital of Victoria with access to the bay and Westernport. Battery World is a well-known brand nationally that is delivery on providing 10,000 batteries for different gadgets and appliances - all backed by the very best in customer service and national warranties.
"So, whether you are heading out on the bay, or a weekend drive: we have batteries for all your needs."
Together with his wife Lynda, the duo has hand-picked staff, building a new team, with a passion for the Mornington Peninsula, batteries and helping people.
As locals, the couple is keen to support their community looking for opportunities to sponsor and support sports and charity groups. They also support Battery World's national charity of choice - Soldier On, an organisation that provides backup and support to all returned military personnel along with Border Security and Federal Police.
"We have been very lucky to secure our store in the heart of Mornington, on Mornington Tyabb Road making us accessible to the complete Peninsula," Brad said. "Whether you need batteries or just some advice on your charging needs, call in and see us - all our staff have been extensively trained and happy to help however big or small your query."
