It was a wonderful lunch and a wonderful and generous speaker. All 50 ladies  that attended received a $50 Wellness manor voucher as well as listening to an inspiring and interesting  presentation by Dr Sally Shaw and delicious food from the Rocks. Barbara Nash won the lucky door prize voucher of $185. Next month the Ladies luncheon is Liz Jones from Totally Toned (the most relaxing way to tone) Friday 7th April at 12.30pm. ALWAYS THE FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH.

We had some great performances from our MYC girls this weekend.  10 MYC girls were in attendance with Sophie & Jolei most improved novices and Lilly & Matilda 1st 420.

GOSS has been running once a month since November and we have had some fantastic days. The program has introduced women to our sport of sailing and to our club.
I have 2 scheduled days left and would love some support for this program.
. Wednesday 8th March (Int. Womens Day)
. Thursday 18th March.
We run from 10am to 1pm and I need some assistance with any boats available for sailing on these days at this time.   We rotate the GOSS girls through the boats for the morning and teach them the basics whilst out on the water – trimming sails, steering, parts of a boat etc.
It is a very enjoyable day, promoting our sport, our club and encouraging women to pursue sailing.

​The MYC laser fleet is growing. If you’ve been thinking of getting into laser racing, NOW is the time. There will be laser coaching sessions each weekend through March at MYC. Any adult or youth sailors with at least basic competence in dinghy sailing are welcome. Contact Mike Stewardson at [email protected] for more details.

The Mornington Peninsula business community and MYC members are invited to join the Flag Officers and General Committee of the Mornington Yacht Club for lunch Friday 17 March 2017 at 12 noon

With a harbourmaster for a father and brother working as a sea pilot it might seem inevitable that Mal, as a qualified shipwright, would run a unique business located in Mornington employing 62  people specialising in building high-performance vessels.   
Come along and find out about Mal’s long and amazing journey and how he got to the day when he could turn his hand to realising something that has always been in his blood……...
