Congratulations to Lily and Matilda Richardson
Lily and Matilda Richardson, 14, have been sailing the 420 for the past 12 months and are striving to achieve their goals in the upcoming Nationals, Worlds and Youths.
Both are active members of the club using the facilities 3-4 times every week for the past twelve months, and have been regular participants in club events and training.
They are qualified assistant instructors and help out with club tackers and school group instructing.
They have competed in the club racing series coming 3rd in the OTB division, and winning both the kids on keel boats race and Schnapper Point Regatta.
They are currently members of the Victorian Sailing Team. They have achieved a lot in the 420 in their first 12 months having won the under 16’s State Championship and second U17’s girls team at the Nationals.
They are great Ambassadors for Mornington Yacht Club.
