Overview
Discover Sailing Day is designed to attract new participants to the sport of Sailing. You will gain an opportunity to go for a sail and have a look around our Club.
When completing you registration for the event you will be have the opportunity to select the type of on water experience you would like, Keelboat, Dinghy, Sailability or Powerboat.
We will try to provide those interested in a keelboat experience with the opportunity to experience a Thursday Twilight Social sail onboard a keelboat. Those interested in Dinghies, Sailability and Powerboats will have their experiences run in smaller 25 minute blocks throughout the evening.
Prerequisites
Discover Sailing Day is designed for anyone wanting to visit a sailing club and discover sailing for the first time.
Outcome
You will experience sailing and be introduced to our Club, we will provide you with information on what opportunities, courses and activities are on offer, that will enable you to participate in sailing. You will meet a range of members, have the opportunity to socialise with new friends on our lovely deck, and enjoy the award winning food of The Rocks if you choose to stay for dinner.
